I was walking to the second gate of our school when suddenly someone tapped at the back. The person kept poking me playfully but I just couldn’t figure out why I didn’t turn my head as soon as possible! BUT when I finally turned my head there he was, ridiculously grinning at me! At first, I didn’t know what to do even his motives at that tim were unclear to me. Well, not until I heard him say something. At first I didn’t seem to understand what he said but after I gained my “self”, I heard it: “You are a GL right?” (GL means the first honors in the batch) Astounded, I answered, “Yeah…why?” My answer didn’t seem to surprise him until, I heard a voice (well, “voices”) from the back saying: “It’s obvious!! She’s a scholar of the school you know. Come on, go ask her out already!” Well, I’m pretty sure that’s what they said and to make sure who was with him, I turned around and saw ALL of his friends starin at us, teasing, hooting…. Then shoot! He asked for my number and gave me his and said, ” Can I text you later? The guys are quite talkative you know.” I answered, “Yeah sure. Why not? Ok, I’ll go now my brother is waiting for me. Bye!!!” Then I left. I really don’t want him to know that practically nervous and BLUSHING the whole time!!

   You see, I have been getting quotes from him and that he really appreciates my “texts of concern”. I’m just so happy right now that I want to tell you all about it! Well, I have been crushing on him since freshman year and that I really want to make friends with him…. Now it’s true!!!!

  Since the time I was kicked out of my barkada, almost all of my classmates wouldn’t dare be my partner in pairworks much more go near me…

   I just couldn’t figure out why do I have to suffer this fate of not having any partner or even ending up with some fat loser…. I mean, why me?

  I just hate it when I geet paired up with a fat loser and then I end up doing all the work….talk about super sloth..AND my partner gets all if not some of the recognition!!!! to think that i was the one with who worked hard for that..(calling all teachers out there)….

  You know, I can really do some of those projects ALONE without anyone relying on me… then I just can’t imagine the relaxatio of my partner after getting the score that he didn’t work for. Can’t he be considerae enough? yadda yadda…… all he says is that “I can’t do that!” or “I don’t have an idea on that topic! Why question me? You can do that alone…. I have to finish my gamin in the arcade you know…blablablabla…”

  See! I’m the best loner in the world!! Well, I’d end here for the moment…..

   So this is the story, I was so preoccupied with my sophomore year (you know, those projects, tests, assignments and stuff)that I didn’t actually notice that my “friends” are kind of avoiding me. They are avoiding me for some reason I don’t know AND avoiding me like I have leprosy or something. you know, they just want me to stay out of their way… And me, the goody-goody me, was just there accepting that I’m officially out of the barkada.

  And now here I am, writing this blog as an outlet of my silent despair of not having any friends. One thing I just can’t understand is that even the whole class is avoiding me like i had a very contaminable sickness that NO HUMAN must dare go near me… Also, there are those classmates of mine that are taking advantage of my hunger for friendship that they use me to let them copy their assignments or even do THEIR assignments, in the hope that i would get even just some of their attention. you see my class is somewhat “clique-centered”. If you’re not in a group, then you’r an outcast…not deserving any attention or recognition. They would even put all the fault on you!!! Can you see how unfair is that?

   Well, I’ll end here for the moment….
